Drive, woman's, cause, decrease



Question by TTDBTTC: what all can cause a decrease in a woman's sex drive?

I just got through at the doctor's office and they took blood samples to check for thyroid problems or a hormonal imbalance. What else could cause a decrease in a woman's sex drive?

Also, if it ends up being a thyroid problem, hormonal imbalance, or whatever else, will medication to help the problem help to increase my sex drive? I have virtually no interest in sex which is driving my husband up the wall...

Yes, there are medications, hormone supplements that can help if that is the problem. Decreased sex drive can be from many things such as stress, anxiety, previous abuse issues, side effect of medications, high blood pressure...
