ten things

firstly, thank you so much for tagging me marianne mkb - go!. i enjoy your wonderful work and words immensely.

let us sally forth:

1. i'm intolerant. fact. i am very comfortable with this situation. i absolutely loathe witting ignorance, herd think and any behaviour that leads to the two former states.

2. i do not care for conspicuous consumerism [i think my stream may make that reasonably obvious]. have you ever considered that we now [for the first time in sartorial history], wear our clothes labels on the outside? we are living advertisements, not only living advertisements for the clothes manufacturers, but living advertisements of ourselves.

3. i saw a tee shirt worn by the wife of a very talented flickr contact, it said:
'please protect me from what i want'.
that should be my mantra.
maybe yours?

4. i do not own a car. i sometimes wish i owned a porsche boxster. at the very least, i may then get some empty recreational sex.

5. i firmly believe homo sapiens will destroy themselves. it's not an 'if', it's a 'when'. i cannot think of a single major human development or idea that has truly benefited the planet. i don't think recycling, the green movements or governments can [or, in the case of governments, want to] do a thing to stop the process. you cannot stop the majority of people being myopic, envious, selfish and self serving. i'm with lovelock.

6. i drink an inordinately unhealthy amount of cheap alcohol. wolf from the door and all that. post eight o'clock is the only time of the day i can honestly say i am relaxed. on occasion i over relax. far too occasionally.

7. it's not that i don't suffer fools glady. i don't want to suffer them at all.

8. i would quite happily see certain people executed.

9. i'm too nice. i give far too much of myself away without consideration of the consequences. always underprice myself, and have no real confidence in that which i create.

[the above may well be considered as four things].

10. i'm often greedy, though i hope in an acceptable way [see above].

11. sometimes, i enjoy breaking rules.

Roxy is a sweet, sweet dog. She is crate-trained -- she'll go right in when you open the door! She is also housebroken and past the annoying teething stages. So long as she has toys to play with and humans to give her love, Roxy is a happy girl. She lives in a home with several other dogs of all sizes, temperaments, sexes and ages and does well with every single one of them and has even been to the dog park several times. Roxy shares toys and takes treats with a soft mouth. She knows "Sit," "Stay", "Paw" and is learning "Down".
