why would your ex want to spend quality time with you , but he says he doesnt want to be with you, no sex.?

he says he is inlove with you , but he cant be with you because he wants you to change, says that maybe in one year from now things can work out. yet wants to speand time with you . no sex. and talks to you on regular basis. why? its so confusing !!
