casual sex- men vs women?

Okay the age old double standard. Men are seen as "the man" if they have sex with X amount of women. But women are seen as whores/sluts. What is your opinion on it?

i think it's leveled out more now. with the dangers of std's more widely known, both man whores and sluts have a negative stigma attached to them. but overall it still favors the man. a girl can sleep around a few times and that slutty reputation won't leave her. while a guy can and it would just be referred to as 'one crazy summer' or something lol. personaly i wouldn't get with or date a girl that has slept around alot, that is such a turn off.
